Places to check out in Centralia
The Olympic Club is located across the street from the Amtrak Depot and will be an official stop on the shuttle bus route, convenient to the heart of downtown Centralia, where there are 365 antique dealers, as well as several cute shops and cafes.
The Olympic Club is one of the McMenamin Brothers' neatest establishments, remaining virtually unchanged since its opulent remodel in 1913. On Friday and Saturday nights, the No Tourist Bar will open to our guests once we leave the Red Barn. The Olympic Club shows several movies a day which will be free to ALL of our wedding guests throughout the weekend. This is also where we will be offering brunch to our guests on Sunday morning as folks head out of town.
Places to check out in Chehalis
Boasting an equally charming downtown just a few miles a way, is the Rose City of Chehalis. Points of interest include the Lewis County Historical Museum, located in a 1912 train depot at 599 NW Front Way, the Obadiah McFadden Log House, 475 SW Chehalis Ave., and the Vintage Motorcycle Museum, with a collection dating back to the late 19th century, tours by appointment only, 360.748.3472.
The Mountains
And just one hour away from Centralia and Chehalis are two great National Parks: Mt. Rainier (north of Centralia) and Mt. St. Helens (south of Centralia).
